Forest Therapy

Forest Therapy

Welcome to the world of Forest Therapy – (Shinrin-yoku), a gentle yet powerful practice that teaches us how to reconnect with nature and find inner peace.
This is the art of completely immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the forest. It is a conscious and slow, very slow movement through nature, where the focus is not on the destination, but on the experience itself.

It is an invitation to:

  • Slow down and leave your worries behind.
  • Turn off your phone and turn on your senses.
  • Breathe deeply and consciously, absorbing the fresh forest air.
  • Observe, listen, smell, and feel everything the forest has to offer.

Find the secret portal to enter forest therapy via the Platan mulch trail and THIS will happen to you:

  • Shutting down the neural stress loop: A decrease in activity in the part of the brain responsible for anxiety and the endless analysis of problems. Nature doesn't just "distract your thoughts"; it literally, physically shuts down the stress hardware.
  • Powerful immunity activation: Japanese research has shown that just one weekend spent in the forest keeps your immunity at its peak and provides health benefits for several weeks.
  • The invisible forest antidepressant: Mycobacterium vaccae, a bacterium from forest soil, when inhaled by chance, triggers the release of serotonin – the happiness hormone. The forest chemically compels you to feel good.
  • Resting the eyes through fractal geometry: When you gaze into the distance in the forest, your eye muscles experience "optical infinity" and relax completely, accompanied by an increase in alpha brain waves.
  • Optimization of heart rate and cognitive energy: Being in nature positively affects heart rate variability (HRV) by stimulating the vagus nerve, making our body more resilient.
  • Resetting the biological clock and “Anti-Aging” effect: Light filtered through leaves sends precise signals to the pineal gland in the brain, perfectly resetting our circadian rhythm, resulting in healthy sleep and melatonin secretion.
  • Total sensory merging: The forest offers an awakening of all five senses, a rare neurological event today. Vision registers soothing fractals, hearing decodes the rustle of leaves, we absorb the scent of the earth and phytoncides, we touch the uneven ground, and the taste of clean air rich in negative ions excites the receptors. This biological symbiosis physically damps mental noise.
Stone Therapy

Stone Therapy

Nature always keeps a secret for those who know how to slow down and look. That’s how one of our guests, turning off (about thirty meters) from the Platan mulch trail, discovered something that had eluded us for years – a hidden, small stone amphitheater in the very heart of nature. And it is only about 500 meters from Platan. Look for it; it’s worth it.

What makes this place fascinating is its depth of about 20 meters, while in the very center of this natural amphitheater sits a single stone, roughly the size of an ordinary bench. The guest stood on it and noticed that her voice suddenly began to echo. The entire ambience irresistibly reminded her of the famous "Speakers' Corner" in London's Hyde Park.

She surrendered to the moment and began to speak out loud. She told us that everyone must try it, because after stepping down from that stone, she felt incomparably better, lighter, and completely unburdened. What gives this story special weight is the fact that our guest is a doctor, a professor of psychology, and a well-known psychotherapist. She named this spot with deep respect "stone therapy".

This is just one of the beautiful examples of how our guests react. Nature always finds a way to help us – whether it heals us with silence, tranquility in the meadow grass, or offers us a safe space, a hidden stone, to finally release everything that weighs us down.

So, what have you decided? Where are you heading for a walk today?
