Welcome to the world of Forest Therapy – (Shinrin-yoku), a gentle yet powerful practice that teaches us how to reconnect with nature and find inner peace.
This is the art of completely immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the forest. It is a conscious and slow, very slow movement through nature, where the focus is not on the destination, but on the experience itself.
It is an invitation to:
Find the secret portal to enter forest therapy via the Platan mulch trail and THIS will happen to you:
Nature always keeps a secret for those who know how to slow down and look. That’s how one of our guests, turning off (about thirty meters) from the Platan mulch trail, discovered something that had eluded us for years – a hidden, small stone amphitheater in the very heart of nature. And it is only about 500 meters from Platan. Look for it; it’s worth it.
What makes this place fascinating is its depth of about 20 meters, while in the very center of this natural amphitheater sits a single stone, roughly the size of an ordinary bench. The guest stood on it and noticed that her voice suddenly began to echo. The entire ambience irresistibly reminded her of the famous "Speakers' Corner" in London's Hyde Park.
She surrendered to the moment and began to speak out loud. She told us that everyone must try it, because after stepping down from that stone, she felt incomparably better, lighter, and completely unburdened. What gives this story special weight is the fact that our guest is a doctor, a professor of psychology, and a well-known psychotherapist. She named this spot with deep respect "stone therapy".
This is just one of the beautiful examples of how our guests react. Nature always finds a way to help us – whether it heals us with silence, tranquility in the meadow grass, or offers us a safe space, a hidden stone, to finally release everything that weighs us down.
So, what have you decided? Where are you heading for a walk today?
